Reviews - A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum

All at MCP were delighted that the Shropshire Star attended our fist night of Forum. We were even more delighted when we saw the review printed in full below! Unfortuately for those who haven't discovered MCP yet it was too late to get a ticket as we were completely Sold Out before opening night. Yipee!!!

Shrewsbury-based Mad Cow Productions’ version of the Sondheim show is a treat from start to finish.

In April 2004, Alex and Lisa decided to present this musical, donating the proceeds to Crossroads and Hope House Children’s Hospice. How lucky we were that they did! We were in for a treat!

Forum, set in about 200 B.C., is a wonderful bawdy romp inspired by the farces of the Roman playwright Plautus, with great plot twists and an array of cleverly drawn characters. It won several Tony Awards on Broadway.
