West End Performer Joins Mad Cow
Mad Cow is delighted to announce a second fabulous addition to our Tutoring Team.
Step forward Mr Mathew Robinson our new choreographer.
We can’t express just how excited we are to have you on board! Thank you so much for agreeing to work with The Herd.
Here at Mad Cow we try to give everyone a chance to improve their theatrical skills and having such an experienced and gifted professional as a regular in our rehearsal rooms will be of huge benefit to all.
Mathew started dancing aged six and progressed to professional training at Laine the renowned Theatre Arts College which quite simply is one of the best international training colleges for the performing arts. Its graduates include such Musical Theatre luminaries as Ruthie Henshall and Matthews’s friend Wicked Star (amongst other roles) Kerry Ellis.
Post training at Laine Matthew had his first big break in the 1998 to 1999 UK Tour of The Pirates of Penzance, since when he has appeared in numerous pantomimes and in the UK tours of: Jesus Christ Superstar, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, and Mama Mia (where he played two of the three dads!) as well as being in Blood Brothers in London’s West End.
The pro world’s loss is MCP’s gain (Have we said how excited we are?!?) as Mathew has recently returned to Shropshire with his lovely wife Kellie, who he met whilst in Mama Mia, and gorgeous sons George and Thomas.
Matt is very keen to pass on his skills to The Herd and is looking forward to improving the standard of our members be they more experienced or complete beginners. He says “It’s a great company. I’m still finding my feet but really enjoy the enthusiasm & eagerness to learn. Both Lisa & Alex have welcomed me with open arms & made me feel part of the family. Though...THEY WORK ME HARD!!”
