Mayoral Award to Mad Cow Productions
Mad Cow Productions were delighted to have been presented with a Special Award by Mayor Jon Tandy for their outstanding contribution to the Community. The award was presented to the Mad Cow's" Alex Hinton and Lisa Lowarch at a packed ceremony at the Shrewsbury Guild Hall.
Challenges For Cast Of Top Musical
Rehearsals are now well underway for Shrewsbury based theatre group Mad Cow Productions 10th Anniversary musical Crazy For You. The men of the group have had to acquire new skills for their roles as the Deadrock Cowboys, including; fight choreography, rope handling and tap dancing all in addition to the usual acting, and singing required by a big musical.
“The show has given us all different, unfamiliar, challenges”, said Terry Edge aged 23 from Oswestry. “As well as some of us having to learn to tap dancing for the first time, we've had to learn stage combat, rope handling and even swinging pick axes! It's been a challenge but great fun.”
